About this policy
This policy explains how INTERSTE Pty Ltd (ACN 643 079 047) (“INTERSTE”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
This website has no forms, accounts, cookies, analytics or tracking tools. We only collect personal information that you choose to send us, usually by email. This may include your name, email address, organisation, phone number and anything else you include in your message.
Our website hosting provider may automatically process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. We do not use this information to identify you.
Why we collect it
We use your information to read and reply to your enquiry, to discuss possible business or project partnerships, to keep a record of our correspondence and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share it with service providers who support our business, such as email and website hosting providers, and with our professional advisers. We share it with others only with your consent or where the law requires or allows it.
Overseas disclosure
Our email and hosting providers may store or process information outside Australia. Because our business focuses on Nigeria, an enquiry may relate to work there; we will ask you before sharing your details with partners in Nigeria.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for business or legal purposes.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it by emailing info@interste.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handled your personal information, please email us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
